Spiny Oyster Heart Necklace

I remember the first time I saw the bright color of spiny oyster, it made me feel happy. It reminded me of spring and summer and made me smile. Mystics say everything I felt was brought on by the spiny oyster. It brings a sense of patience, calm and peace.

This oyster shell heart has tones of orange with a hint of purple. The color variations of spiny oyster is based on the depth they are found. I've set this beautiful bright orange heart into sterling silver which was stamped using Navajo made tools. I fashioned the bail into a hook style so this pendant may be worn on various sizes of beaded necklaces or chain regardless of the clasp size. I hope this spiny oyster silver heart makes you smile.
