Jasper can be found in a various colors. It is a variety of Chalcedony. Colors include grey with white, red, yellow, blues, purple, brown and pink. Because of it’s organic materials and minerals it has many patterns and pictures.
Jasper has been used by Native American Indians during ceremonies to preserve traditional old ways and to summon courage. Jasper has also been used to drive away evil spirits and to provide protection. It is said that this stone brings tranquility and restores wholeness.
